The Kensington Reston is well into the construction of our community and the building is starting to come together and look like home. We have had a few development challenges due to COVID 19 but our partner, Forrester Construction, has been diligently working to navigate the path to completion.
Our community is quickly showing signs of life with the exterior installation progressing. The beautiful patio and terrace overlooking the Reston golf course have recently been finalized. We are looking forward to completing the grading of the site, placing the sidewalks, and installing landscaping to brighten up our view. In interior developments, the ceilings and cabinets will be fully installed, and flooring will be underway in the next few weeks. Construction on our models has been expedited and we can’t wait to show them off prior to opening. We look forward to showing our models in person soon. Our Information Center is now open, and the Reston team has been busy taking appointments for anticipated move-ins. We have enjoyed doing virtual events from our Information Center and have begun to welcome guests into the physical space. We are taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our visitors with respect to COVID 19 including temperature checks, frequent sanitization of the space, mask wearing, and socially distanced meetings.
