Join us for a special open house designed for caregivers! Led by Jackie Mills, a certified Positive Approach to Care (PAC) trainer, for a crucial session in our PAC series—Understanding Dementia Related Behaviors. This event is designed to help you distinguish between the natural signs of aging and the more serious symptoms of dementia. .

During this event, you’ll learn how to recognize the underlying causes of common behaviors associated with dementia, such as agitation, confusion, and wandering. Jackie will share practical techniques to respond with empathy and effectiveness, using Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care methods. You’ll gain insights into how to create a supportive environment that minimizes stress for both the individual with dementia and the caregiver.

This open house is a valuable opportunity to connect with other caregivers, share experiences, and gain essential insights that can enhance your caregiving journey. Whether you’re new to caregiving or looking to deepen your understanding, this session will empower you with the tools needed to support those in your care effectively. Refreshments will be provided, and all caregivers are welcome!
