Aging affects each partner differently, even if they’re the same age. This often leads to one spouse becoming the primary caregiver, which can become overwhelming as care needs increase. This event will provide guidance on managing these challenges, offering insights on balance, communication, and well-being as caregiving roles shift.
Led by Jennifer Denk, an experienced social worker dedicated to supporting families through aging and caregiving transitions, this discussion will equip couples with the tools they need to navigate this important stage of life together.
Jennifer Denk, MSW, LMSW, CDP, graduated with a B.A in Psychology from George Mason University in 2001 and returned to complete a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2018. Jen has worked with persons with dementia and their families in many different capacities, including therapeutic recreation and as a social worker offering social services to participants and their families.
