A Conversation With Patti Davis, Daughter of President Ronald Reagan

Kensington Senior Living was pleased to host an intimate conversation with Patti Davis, the daughter of President Ronald Reagan. Patti discusses her ten-year journey as a family caregiver and how it inspired her two most well-known books Floating in the Deep End: How Caregivers Can See Beyond Alzheimer’s (2021) and The Long Goodbye: Memories of My Father (2004).

Tune into our virtual event as Patti shares personal insight and advice for fellow caregivers, drawing from her own experiences as well as from the caregiver support group she founded, Beyond Alzheimer’s. This event is moderated by Marianne Sciucco, Founder of AlzAuthors.

At Kensington Senior Living, we promise to “love and care for your family as we do our own.” And that includes you. We remain accessible to residents and their families for information, advice, a compassionate ear, and hugs of comfort if needed. We also partner with others who bring fresh perspective and supportive insight about changing family dynamics, navigating transitions, and self-care.

Marianne Sciucco, Author & Founder of AlzAuthors. She says, “My writing and publishing career has led me to become a founding member of AlzAuthors, the global community of authors writing about the dementias. Our goal is to raise awareness of these diseases and to spotlight carefully vetted books and blogs recommended for caregivers and others looking for knowledge and support. Each week we feature a new author/blogger on our blog and I host a podcast featuring one of our authors. Visit alzauthors.com. A native Bostonian, I live in New York’s Hudson Valley, and when not writing work as a campus nurse at a community college. I love books, the beach, and craft beer, and especially enjoy the three of them together.”
