We understand caregiving is not easy and we want to support you on this journey. Join us for our weekly offering of Wellness Wednesdays as we support you finding calm – boosting happiness and living your best life as a caregiver.
We invite you to join us for Wellness Wednesday – Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep” is a form of deep guided relaxation that brings you into a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. Class participants may experience reduced stress and better sleep as a result from a yoga nidra practice. Join Wellness Instructor, Madhavi Rao for this guided practice. Madhavi provides motivational methods to reach lifestyle goals and create ways to ease the stressors that life may bring with caregiving. Madhavi focuses on the many layers of life which include: emotional, purpose, mental, social and physical well-being.
*This practice asks you to lie comfortable and still for the duration of the meditation, so we recommend having pillows and blankets nearby. (You may choose to wear socks or a cozy sweater if you tend to get chilly!)
