Join us for a special open house designed for caregivers! Led by Jackie Mills, a certified Positive Approach to Care (PAC) trainer, this introductory session—PAC 101—is the perfect starting point for those looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in dementia care. 

In this session, Jackie will introduce you to the core concepts of Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care, offering practical techniques to improve your interactions with individuals living with dementia. You’ll explore essential topics like effective communication strategies, understanding the stages of dementia through the GEMS® model, and learning the Hand-under-Hand® method for providing compassionate, safe assistance. 

This open house is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow caregivers, ask questions, and gain valuable insights that can transform your caregiving experience. Whether you’re just beginning your caregiving journey or seeking to deepen your expertise, PAC 101 is designed to empower you with the tools and confidence needed to provide exceptional care.
